LM1117DTX-3.3/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - Linear
The LM1117 is a low-dropout linear regulator providing up to 800mA output current with a fixed 3.3V output. It operates from 4.75V to 15V input and features a dropout voltage of 1.2V typical (1.3V maximum) at full load. The device provides excellent line regulation of 0.006% and load regulation of 0.01%, ensuring stable output voltage. Output voltage tolerance is 2% over temperature. The LM1117 is stable with ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum electrolytic output capacitors, offering design flexibility. Built-in protection includes current limiting and thermal shutdown. The device is available in the surface-mount TO-252 (DPAK) package. Selection is ideal for local 3.3V regulation from 5V or higher input rails in medium-current applications.
