The LM234 is a 3-terminal adjustable current source with an operating current range of 1 µA to 10 mA, operating from a 1 V to 40 V supply voltage. The current is set by a single external resistor and the device features a temperature dependence of +0.33%/°C (but can be made temperature-compensated with additional components). Packaged in a 3-pin TO-92 (Z) for through-hole mounting, it is ideal for low-cost current sourcing applications.
