The LM2660 is a switched-capacitor voltage converter capable of producing a negative output voltage (inverter) or a doubled positive output (doubler) from a 1.5-V to 5.5-V input, delivering up to 100-mA output current. It operates with a 50-kHz (typical) internal oscillator and requires only two external capacitors. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (MX), it is ideal for generating a negative supply rail from a positive input.
