LM2662M/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM2662 is a switched-capacitor voltage converter capable of producing a negative output voltage (inverter) or a doubled positive output (doubler) from a 1.5-V to 5.5-V input, delivering up to 200 mA of output current. The device operates with a 50-kHz (typical) internal oscillator and features low power efficiency of 86% typical. It requires only two external capacitors, minimizing board space. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, the LM2662 is ideal for generating a negative supply rail from a positive input without the need for magnetics. Applications include generating –5 V from +5 V for analog circuitry, RS-232 interface power supplies, LCD bias generators, and portable instrument power supplies requiring voltage inversion or doubling.
