LM2675M-5.0/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM2675 is a SIMPLE SWITCHER® step-down regulator delivering 1 A of output current with a fixed 5.0 V output. It operates from an input range of 6.5 V to 40 V and features a 260-kHz fixed switching frequency, allowing for small external components. The device includes thermal shutdown, current limiting, and an on/off control pin, and achieves up to 90% efficiency. It requires only a few external components (inductor, diodes, capacitors). Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, it is standard for easy-to-use step-down regulation. Applications include 12-V to 5-V conversion in industrial controls, automotive electronics, battery-powered equipment, and post-regulation for switching converters.
