LM2678SX-ADJ/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM2678 is a SIMPLE SWITCHER® high-efficiency step-down regulator delivering up to 5-A output current with adjustable output from 1.2-V to 37-V . It operates from an 8-V to 40-V input and features a low 120-mΩ DMOS power switch with efficiency up to 92%. A 260-kHz fixed switching frequency allows for small external components. The device includes thermal shutdown, current limiting, and an on/off control pin with 50-μA standby current when disabled. The feedback voltage is 1.21 V. Packaged in a 7-pin TO-263 (SX) (10.16 mm × 8.89 mm) for surface mounting, the LM2678 is ideal for simple-to-design high-efficiency step-down regulators, efficient system pre-regulators for linear regulators, and battery chargers requiring up to 5-A output.
