The LM317 is an adjustable 3-terminal positive voltage regulator capable of supplying up to 500 mA of output current over an output range of 1.25 V to 37 V. It features typical line regulation of 0.01%/V and load regulation of 0.1%, with built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown.
