LM334Z/NOPB TI Current Regulation/Management

The LM334 is a 3-terminal adjustable current source with an operating current range of 1 μA to 10 mA, operating from 1 V to 40 V supply voltage. The current is set by a single external resistor and the device features a temperature dependence of +0.33%/°C (but can be made temperature-compensated with additional components). The LM334 operates as a true current source with high output impedance. Packaged in a 3-pin TO-92 for through-hole mounting, it is ideal for low-cost current sourcing applications. Applications include constant-current biasing for amplifiers, LED drivers, temperature-sensitive current sources, and battery chargers requiring a simple, adjustable current source.
