The LM337 is an adjustable 3-terminal negative voltage regulator capable of supplying up to 1.5 A of output current over an output voltage range of –1.2 V to –37 V . It operates from an input voltage as low as –3 V to as high as –40 V . The device features internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation for robust operation. Typical dropout voltage is 3 V at full load . Packaged in a 3-pin TO-220 (T) through-hole package, the LM337 is standard for negative adjustable power supplies requiring high current .
