The LM3488 is a high-efficiency boost, flyback, SEPIC, and forward converter controller with a 2.2-V to 40-V supply range, operating from 2.97 V minimum start-up. It features a 1-A gate driver, programmable switching frequency up to 1 MHz, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. The device includes a 1.26-V reference with 2% accuracy and pulse-skipping mode for light-load efficiency. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP (MMX) (3 mm × 3 mm), the LM3488 is ideal for portable and industrial power supplies.
