LM35DMX/NOPB TI Temperature Sensors - Analog and Digital Output
The LM35 is a precision centigrade temperature sensor with output voltage linearly proportional to temperature in degrees Celsius, providing 10mV/°C scale factor. It operates from 4V to 30V supply and features ±0.5°C accuracy at 25°C, with operating range of -55°C to 150°C. The device draws only 60µA supply current and features low self-heating (0.08°C in still air). Unlike thermistors, the LM35 requires no external calibration or trimming. The LM35D variant is specified for 0°C to 100°C operation. Selection is ideal for applications requiring direct Celsius temperature readout without negative voltage references. Applications include power supply thermal management, HVAC thermostats, battery temperature monitoring, automotive cabin temperature sensing, and industrial process control.
