LM3671MF-1.2/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM3671 is a step-down DC-DC converter optimized for battery-powered portable applications, operating from 2.7 V to 5.5 V input and delivering up to 600 mA output with fixed 1.2 V. It features 2 MHz switching frequency, allowing the use of tiny 2.2 µH inductors and small ceramic capacitors. The device automatically enters power-save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency, drawing only 16 µA typical quiescent current. Selection is optimal for single-cell Li-Ion or dual-cell alkaline battery systems. Applications include PDAs, portable media players, low-power DSP supplies, and point-of-load regulation in space-constrained handheld devices.
