It features 2 MHz switching frequency, allowing the use of tiny 2.2 µH inductors and small ceramic capacitors. The device automatically enters power-save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency, drawing only 16 µA typical quiescent current. Selection is optimal for single-cell Li-Ion or dual-cell alkaline battery systems.
