LM3671MFX-3.3/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM3671 is a step-down DC-DC converter optimized for battery-powered portable applications, operating from 2.7V to 5.5V input and delivering up to 600mA output current with a fixed 3.3V output . It features a 2MHz fixed switching frequency, allowing the use of tiny 2.2µH inductors and small ceramic capacitors. The device automatically enters power-save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency across the full load range, drawing only 16µA typical quiescent current. A MODE pin allows forcing fixed-frequency PWM for noise-sensitive applications. The LM3671 supports 100% duty cycle for lowest dropout and includes internal soft-start to limit inrush current. Selection is optimal for single-cell Li-Ion battery systems requiring fixed 3.3V output with high efficiency. Applications include PDAs, portable media players, low-power DSP core supplies, and point-of-load regulation in space-constrained handheld devices.
