The LM3674 is a step-down converter with adjustable output from 0.8 V to VIN, operating from 2.7 V to 5.5 V input and delivering up to 600-mA output current . It features 2-MHz fixed switching frequency, allowing the use of tiny 2.2-µH inductors and small ceramic capacitors. The device automatically enters power-save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency, drawing only 16-µA typical quiescent current . A mode pin allows forcing fixed-frequency PWM for noise-sensitive applications. Selection is optimal for single-cell Li-Ion battery systems requiring adjustable output.
