LM385BXZ-2.5/NOPB TI Voltage Reference
The LM385B is a precision micropower shunt voltage reference providing a fixed 2.5 V output with 1.5% initial tolerance (B-grade). It operates over a 20 μA to 20 mA current range and features 30 ppm/°C typical temperature drift. The device requires no external capacitor and is stable with all capacitive loads, with a low dynamic impedance of 1 Ω. Packaged in a 3-pin TO-92 for through-hole mounting, the LM385B is characterised for operation from 0 °C to 70 °C. Selection is ideal for portable battery-powered references requiring extremely low power consumption. Applications include battery-powered test instruments, portable medical devices, low-power voltage monitoring circuits, and as a precision shunt reference for 8-bit ADC and DAC circuits in through-hole designs.
