LM393N/NOPB TI Comparators
The LM393 is a dual differential comparator operating from a 2-V to 36-V single supply (or ±1-V to ±18-V dual). It features low supply current of 0.8 mA per comparator (1 mA max), a 1.3-µs typical response time, and open-collector outputs for wired-AND connections. Input common-mode range includes ground, and the device provides 100 dB typical voltage gain. Packaged in an 8-pin PDIP for through-hole mounting, the LM393 is standard for general-purpose threshold detection in industrial and consumer applications. Applications include window detectors, zero-crossing detectors, battery voltage monitors, oscillator circuits, and analog-to-digital converter front-ends in industrial controls and consumer electronics.
