LM397MFX/NOPB TI Comparators

The LM397 is a single voltage comparator with wide supply range of 2V to 30V single supply (or ±1V to ±15V dual). It features open-collector output capable of sinking up to 30mA, allowing wired-AND connections with other open-collector outputs. The device provides low supply current of 400µA typical and propagation delay of 1µs typical. Input common-mode range includes ground. Selection is ideal for general-purpose threshold detection in industrial and automotive systems. Applications include window detectors, zero-crossing detectors, battery voltage monitors, oscillator circuits, and analog-to-digital converter front-ends requiring simple, robust comparator functionality.
