The LM4861 is a bridge-connected load (BTL) audio power amplifier capable of delivering 1.5 W of continuous average power into an 8-Ω load with less than 1% distortion (THD+N) using a 5-V supply. It is designed specifically for low-power, battery-powered applications, featuring a low-power shutdown mode that draws less than 0.7-µA. The LM4861 has a unity-gain stable design and can be configured for external gain. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, it is ideal for portable consumer electronics.
