LM4951ASD/NOPB TI Audio Amplifiers

The LM4951ASD/NOPB is a wide voltage range 1.8-W audio power amplifier from Texas Instruments featuring short-circuit protection and active-low shutdown mode. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 9V and can deliver 1.8 W continuous average power with less than 1% THD+N into an 8-Ω bridge-tied load (BTL) when operating from a 7.5V power supply. Key specifications include quiescent power supply current of 2.5mA typical at 7.5V, shutdown current of 0.01µA typical, and fast turn-on time of 25ms typical. The device features advanced pop and click circuitry that eliminates noise during turn-on and turn-off transitions and does not require bootstrap capacitors or snubber circuits.
