LM5068MMX-2/NOPB TI Hot Swap Controllers

The LM5068 is a high-side hot-swap controller with integrated power limiting, operating from a 9-V to 100-V input. It drives an external N-channel MOSFET to control inrush current and provide overcurrent protection during board insertion and removal. The device features programmable current limit, power limiting, fault timer, and undervoltage/overvoltage protection (UVLO/OVLO). The -2 option features automatic restart after a fault timeout. Packaged in a 10-pin VSSOP (MM) (3 mm × 3 mm), it is ideal for electronic circuit breaker and hot-swap insertion applications in high-availability systems. Applications include telecom power distribution (48 V), servers, industrial power supplies, solid-state breakers, and high-voltage battery systems.
