The LM5118 is a wide-input buck-boost controller operating from a 4.5-V to 75-V input, supporting output from 1.23 V to 75 V and providing up to 100 W of output power. It features emulated current-mode control with forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) for reduced noise. The device includes programmable switching frequency up to 500 kHz, soft-start, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown. Packaged in a 20-pin HTSSOP with PowerPAD (MHX) (6.5 mm × 4.4 mm), the LM5118 is ideal for industrial and automotive 48-V/24-V systems.
