LM567CMX/NOPB TI Tone Decoders
LM567CMX/NOPB is a PLL-based precision tone decoder from Texas Instruments, designed for audio frequency detection and signal decoding tasks. Its center frequency is adjustable from 0.01 Hz to 500 kHz via external RC networks, with detection bandwidth configurable from 0% to 14% of the center frequency. The device triggers its open-collector output when input signal amplitude exceeds 25 mV, and the output can sink up to 100 mA to directly drive relays and optocouplers. It features high oscillator stability and strong noise immunity, with typical 12 mA supply current, 4.75 V to 9 V operating voltage and 0 °C to 70 °C working temperature, packaged in an 8-pin SOIC. It is widely used for remote control decoding, ultrasonic detection, DTMF recognition, frequency alarm circuits and industrial signal monitoring requiring cost-effective tone detection.
