LM74700QDBVTQ1 TI Diode
The LM74700-Q1 is an automotive-grade ideal diode controller with integrated back-to-back MOSFETs, qualified for AEC-Q100 applications. It operates from 3.2V to 65V input and provides low reverse leakage and near-zero forward voltage drop. The device features ultra-low quiescent current of 60µA typical, with shutdown current of 5µA. The LM74700-Q1 drives an external N-channel MOSFET to emulate an ideal diode, replacing traditional Schottky diodes to reduce power dissipation and voltage drop. It provides reverse battery protection and load disconnect capability. Selection is optimal for automotive power OR-ing and reverse polarity protection requiring AEC-Q100 qualification. Applications include battery backup circuits, power supply OR-ing for redundant power sources, automotive ECU power protection, industrial controls, and portable electronics where minimizing voltage drop and maximizing efficiency are critical.
