LM7705MMX/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The LM7705 is a switched-capacitor voltage inverter that generates a regulated negative voltage of –0.232 V from a positive input of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, capable of delivering up to 26 mA of output current. This low-negative output voltage is specifically designed to allow rail-to-rail output op-amps to swing to 0 V. The device operates at a 92-kHz fixed frequency, requiring only two external capacitors. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP, the LM7705 is ideal for single-supply systems that require a small negative supply to improve the dynamic range of signal conditioning circuits. Applications include powering the negative supply of op-amps in portable instruments, medical devices, and data acquisition systems to achieve true zero-output voltage.
