LMC555CMMX/NOPB TI Programmable Timers and Oscillators
The LMC555 is a CMOS version of the industry-standard 555 timer, offering ultra-low power consumption and high frequency capability . It operates from a 1.5-V to 15-V supply and consumes only 360-µA typical quiescent current (1/10 of bipolar 555). The device provides a 3-MHz maximum frequency and 100-mA output drive capability. It features adjustable duty cycle and requires significantly lower timing capacitor values due to high input impedance. Packaged in an 8-pin VSSOP (CMM), it is ideal for battery-powered timing applications requiring low power consumption. Applications include precision timing, pulse generation, frequency division, and low-power LED flashers for IoT sensors and medical devices.
