LMC567CMX/NOPB TI Tone Decoders
LMC567CMX/NOPB is a pin-compatible low-power CMOS PLL tone decoder upgraded from LM567, optimized for battery-powered low-energy frequency sensing applications. It supports a wide 2 V to 9 V supply range with ultra-low 8 µA typical quiescent current, effectively extending battery life for portable equipment. The tunable center frequency reaches up to 500 kHz, equipped with amplitude hysteresis and excellent out-of-band noise rejection to prevent false triggering. Its open-collector output sinks 20 mA for stable external load driving, operating reliably from -25 °C to 100 °C and supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package. Engineers choose this component for wireless sensor nodes, portable remote units, battery-powered frequency alarms, field monitors and all low-power portable detection systems.
