The LMP8358MAX/NOPB is a precision, zero-drift, programmable-gain instrumentation amplifier from Texas Instruments featuring fault detection circuitry and rail-to-rail output. It operates over a supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V and draws a low quiescent current of 1.9 mA. The device offers gains programmable to 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, or 1000 via an SPI-compatible serial interface or through a parallel interface, with an alternative arbitrary gain setting using two external resistors. It features ultra-low offset voltage of 10 µV (max), low offset voltage drift of 50 nV/°C (max), low gain error of 0.15% (max), and high CMRR of 110 dB (min). The device includes input fault detection circuitry to detect open, shorted, or deteriorating inputs, as well as EMIRR performance of 92 dB at 1.8 GHz for EMI-hardened operation. Housed in a 14-pin SOIC (D) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C.
