LP2951ACMMX/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO)

The LP2951ACMMX is a micropower fixed/adjustable positive LDO regulator with 100mA output current capability . It operates from 2.3V to 30V input and features a low dropout voltage of 0.38V typical (0.6V maximum) at full load. The device can be used as fixed 5V output or adjustable from 1.24V to 29V using external resistors. Output voltage tolerance is ±1.5% maximum. The LP2951ACMMX includes an error flag output for voltage monitoring, a shutdown pin for power savings, and current limiting with thermal protection. Packaged in 8-pin VSSOP (mini SOIC), this device consumes 75µA typical quiescent current. Selection is ideal for battery-powered and portable instrumentation requiring low power consumption and voltage monitoring. Applications include battery-powered devices, handheld instrumentation, post-regulation for switching converters, and automotive systems.
