LP3982IMM-3.3/NOPB TI Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO)
The LP3982 is a 300mA low-dropout regulator providing fixed 3.3V output, operating from 2.5V to 6V input. It features low dropout voltage of 150mV typical at 300mA load and excellent PSRR of 65dB at 1kHz. The device consumes 260µA typical quiescent current and 1µA in shutdown mode. Output noise is 50µVRMS typical, making it suitable for noise-sensitive RF applications. The LP3982 is stable with ceramic output capacitors and includes current limiting and thermal shutdown. Selection is ideal for battery-powered and portable applications requiring low noise and low dropout. Applications include RF power supplies for wireless transceivers, Bluetooth modules, audio codec power, and sensor supplies in portable medical devices and smartphones.
