MAX3232ECPWR TI Transceivers

The MAX3232ECPWR is a dual-channel RS-232 line driver/receiver from Texas Instruments, operating from a single 3V to 5.5V supply using an integrated dual charge pump and four 0.1µF external capacitors. Verify supply voltage between 3V and 5.5V; confirm data rate up to 250kbps with full compliance to TIA/EIA-232-F and ITU V.28 standards. Note two drivers and two receivers in full-duplex configuration; observe low supply current of 300µA typical. ESD protection on RS-232 bus pins includes ±15kV HBM, ±8kV IEC contact discharge, and ±15kV IEC air-gap discharge. Operating temperature range from 0°C to 70°C.
