The MCP9700T-E/LT is a low‑power, analog temperature sensor from Microchip Technology that directly converts temperature to an analog voltage output. For selection, verify a supply voltage from 2.3 V to 5.5 V, confirm a sensing range of –40 °C to +125 °C with ±2 °C accuracy from 0 °C to +70 °C ( ±4°C full range ), note the linear 10 mV/°C slope and 500 mV DC offset ( allowing negative temperature reading without a negative rail ), and ensure the 6 µA (typ.) operating current for battery‑powered designs .
