The MIC29152WU is a high‑accuracy (1% tolerance) low‑dropout adjustable LDO from Microchip, capable of delivering 1.5 A with a 350 mV typical dropout at full load. Housed in a TO‑263‑5 (D2PAK) surface‑mount package, it operates over a –40 °C to +125 °C junction temperature range. For selection, verify input voltage from 2 V to 26 V and output set externally from 1.25 V to 25 V. Its proprietary Super βeta PNP® process ensures low ground current, fast transient response, and full protection against overcurrent, overtemperature, reverse polarity, and load‑dump transients. The 5‑pin version includes an enable pin for zero‑current shutdown. Applications include battery‑powered equipment, “green” computer systems, automotive electronics, post‑regulation for switching supplies, industrial controls and renewable energy systems.
