MIC29510-5.0WT MICROCHIP Special Purpose
The MIC29510-5.0WT is a fixed 5V output high-current LDO regulator from Microchip that delivers up to 5A with a typical dropout voltage of 700mV (1V max) and a guaranteed output tolerance of 1%. For selection, first verify that the unregulated input voltage does not exceed 16V (absolute maximum 20V). Ensure the thermal design is adequate by calculating power dissipation and selecting an appropriate heatsink, as the device has an operating temperature range from 0°C to 125°C.
