MIC841HYC5-TR MICROCHIP Comparators
The MIC841HYC5‑TR from Microchip is a micropower precision voltage comparator with an on‑chip 1.24V reference and user‑adjustable hysteresis, delivered in an SC‑70‑5 package for space‑constrained designs. For selection, it supports a 1.5V–5.5V supply, draws just 1.5µA typical quiescent current, achieves ±1.25% threshold accuracy, 10µs propagation delay, and 20mV hysteresis. The push‑pull output is configurable as active‑high or active‑low; the open‑drain option pulls to 6V regardless of VDD. In application, it excels in under/over‑voltage monitoring for smartphones, PDAs, wireless sensors, and portable instruments; precision battery and charger supervision; energy‑harvesting and IoT edge‑node power‑rail supervision; and threshold‑detection circuits in industrial automation and automotive body electronics where extreme low power and adjustable hysteresis are critical.
