The OPA1612AIDR is a high-performance, dual-channel, bipolar-input audio operational amplifier from Texas Instruments‘ SoundPlus™ series. With an ultralow noise density of 1.1 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz and an ultralow distortion of 0.000015% at 1 kHz, it delivers superior sound quality for high-fidelity systems. The device achieves 40 MHz bandwidth (G = +1) and 27 V/μs slew rate, ensuring fast transient response across the full audio spectrum. Rail-to-rail output swing to within 600 mV of the supply rails with a 2-kΩ load maximizes dynamic range, while ±30 mA output drive capability supports demanding loads. Operating over a wide supply range of ±2.25 V to ±18 V with only 3.6 mA quiescent current per channel, the OPA1612AIDR balances performance with power efficiency. The dual channels feature completely independent circuitry for lowest crosstalk, even when overdriven or overloaded.
