The OPA1622 is a dual, bipolar-input SoundPlus™ audio operational amplifier offering ultra-low noise (2.8 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz) and ultra-low total harmonic distortion (–119.2 dB THD+N). It operates over a wide supply range of ±2 V to ±18 V (4 V to 36 V single) with a quiescent current of only 2.6 mA per channel. The device provides a high output drive of ±145 mA / –130 mA, a gain-bandwidth product of 32 MHz, and a slew rate of 10 V/µs. It includes a shutdown mode that reduces standby current to less than 5 µA per channel, specifically designed to eliminate click and pop noise during power cycling. Packaged in a 10-pin VSON (DRC) (3 mm × 3 mm) with PowerPAD™, the OPA1622 is ideal for high-fidelity headphone amplifiers, professional audio equipment, audio test and measurement systems, high-end A/V receivers, and Blu-ray players requiring exceptional sound quality, high output drive, and low power consumption in a compact package.
