OPA380AID TI Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps
The OPA380AID is a single, high-speed precision transimpedance amplifier from Texas Instruments, ideally suited for high-speed photodiode applications. It features a Gain Bandwidth Product (GBW) of 90 MHz, enabling a transimpedance bandwidth of >1 MHz in most configurations. The device provides exceptional DC precision with an offset voltage of 25 µV (max), offset drift of 0.1 µV/°C, and a low bias current of 50 pA (max), far exceeding the performance of conventional JFET op amps. Its high precision and low noise allow for a dynamic range of 4 to 5 decades, measuring signal currents from 1 nA to 100 µA in a single stage. Housed in an 8-pin SOIC (D) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C. Applications include optical amplifiers, fiber optic power monitoring, CAT-scanner front-ends, and precision current-to-voltage conversion.
