P82B96PWR TI Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters

The P82B96PWR is a dual bidirectional I2C bus buffer from Texas Instruments, electrically identical to other P82B96 variants but packaged in an 8-pin TSSOP (PW) package. It operates over a wide supply range of 2V to 15V, supporting multiple logic levels, and isolates bus capacitance allowing up to 400pF on the main side and 4000pF on the transmission side. It supports 400kHz Fast I2C bus operation over at least 20 meters of wire, features high current sink capability for driving low-impedance or high-capacitance buses, and latch-up performance exceeding 100mA per JESD 78 Class II. Housed in an 8-pin TSSOP (PW) package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C. Applications include industrial automation, process control, signal processing, consumer electronics, and long-distance I2C bus extension in space-constrained designs.
