PCA9515BDGKR TI Signal Buffers, Repeaters, Splitters

The PCA9515BDGKR is a 2-bit bidirectional I2C bus and SMBus buffer/repeater from Texas Instruments, designed for extending I2C bus systems without degrading performance. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.3V to 3.6V and supports Standard-mode (100-kHz) and Fast-mode (400-kHz) I2C devices. The device features two identical bidirectional open-drain buffer circuits that allow two buses of 400-pF bus capacitance to be connected in an I2C application. Key features include an active-high repeater-enable input, lockup-free operation, powered-off high-impedance I2C pins, and support for arbitration and clock stretching across the repeater. Housed in an 8-pin VSSOP (DGK) package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C.
