PCA9548ADBR is an 8-channel I²C bus multiplexer from Texas Instruments for large-scale I²C device expansion. It runs on 2.3 V to 5.5 V supply, supporting standard and fast I²C bus speeds, with eight independently controllable switch channels. Low on-resistance and minimal channel crosstalk preserve signal quality in complex multi-device networks. It includes hardware reset for bus recovery, supports hot-swap operation and full ESD protection. Packaged in 24-pin SSOP, it operates reliably from -40 °C to 85 °C. This 8-channel switch is widely used in large sensor networks, industrial control racks, multi-module embedded equipment and complex systems requiring extensive I²C bus branching.
