REF5040AIDR TI Voltage Reference
The REF5040 is a precision series voltage reference providing a fixed 4.096V output with 0.1% initial accuracy and 3ppm/°C (typical) temperature coefficient. It operates from 4.416V to 18V input and consumes only 1.2mA typical supply current while delivering up to 10mA output current. The device features ultra-low output noise of 9.6µVp-p (0.1Hz to 10Hz) and high long-term stability. The REF5040 features excellent line and load regulation, with 20ppm/V line regulation and 25ppm/mA load regulation. Selection is ideal for high-precision 16-bit ADC and DAC reference inputs requiring ultra-low drift and noise. Applications include precision test and measurement equipment, medical instrumentation, industrial process control, ATE (Automatic Test Equipment), and 16-bit data acquisition systems requiring stable reference voltage with minimal drift over temperature.
