The SG3524 is a voltage-mode pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller designed for switching power supplies. It operates from 8V to 40V and features a 5V precision reference trimmed to ±1%. The device includes two 100mA totem-pole outputs for push-pull or single-ended topologies. It provides under-voltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection. The oscillator frequency is programmable (typically 722 kHz) and the maximum duty cycle is limited to 45% for push-pull operation.
