SN55183J is a military-grade dual differential line driver from Texas Instruments, optimized for driving balanced twisted-pair transmission lines in high-reliability military and aerospace systems. It integrates two differential driver channels with TTL-compatible logic inputs, delivering strong drive capability for standard line impedances without excessive power consumption. The output stages adopt TTL totem-pole structure, allowing the device to work as a TTL signal expander or phase splitter, and both channels share unified power and ground pins for simplified layout. Powered by 4.5V to 5.5V, it consumes maximum 18mA supply current and supports data rates up to 10Mbps. Its operating temperature spans -55°C to 125°C for extreme working conditions. It is widely used in military communication systems, aerospace control buses and rugged industrial differential signal driving applications.
