SN6505BDBVR TI Transformers

The SN6505B is a transformer driver for isolated power supplies, operating from 2.25V to 5.5V input and delivering up to 1A drive capability. It features a push-pull converter architecture with switching frequency of 400kHz (B option), providing high efficiency and low EMI. The device includes soft-start, current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection. The SN6505B drives center-tapped transformers to generate isolated rails up to 5W with minimal external components. Selection is ideal for isolated interface power in industrial and medical applications. Applications include isolated RS-485, RS-232, CAN transceivers, gate driver bias supplies for IGBTs and MOSFETs, and medical isolation interfaces requiring low EMI.
