The SN65HVD1782 is a fault-protected RS-485 transceiver with bus-pin protection up to ±70V, operating from a 3.15V to 5.5V supply. It supports data rates up to 10Mbps and features a wide common-mode range of –20V to +25V, 1/8 unit-load receiver allowing up to 256 nodes, and failsafe receiver output. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (D), it is ideal for industrial communication networks requiring robustness against bus faults.
