The SN65LVDS391PWR is a quad differential line driver from Texas Instruments that implements the electrical characteristics of low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) . It operates from a single 3.3V supply and is designed for signaling rates up to 630 Mbps with very low electromagnetic interference (EMI) . The device meets or exceeds the requirements of the ANSI TIA/EIA-644 standard, delivering a typical differential output voltage of 350 mV into a 100-Ω load . Each driver features a propagation delay of less than 2.9 ns with output skew under 150 ps and part-to-part skew under 1.5 ns . The driver outputs are high-impedance when disabled or when VCC is below 1.5 V, and the LVTTL logic inputs are 5-V tolerant . Bus-pin ESD protection exceeds 15 kV for enhanced robustness . Total power dissipation is a low 35 mW per driver operating at 200 MHz . Housed in a 16-pin TSSOP (PW) package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C . Applications include high-speed backplane data transmission, clock distribution networks, cable extender boxes, and any system requiring low-power, high-speed differential signal driving with four independent channels.
