SN74AHC165PWR TI Shift Registers

The SN74AHC165 is an 8-bit parallel-in/serial-out shift register with asynchronous load and clock inhibit, operating from 2 V to 5.5 V supply. It features eight parallel data inputs that are loaded into the register when the shift/load input is low, and data shifts serially when the input is high. The device includes a clock inhibit input and a complementary serial output. Propagation delay is 14 ns typical at 5 V. Packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP, the SN74AHC165 is ideal for input port expansion for microcontrollers.
