The SN74ALVC244 is an octal buffer and line driver with 3-state outputs, featuring two independent 4-bit buffers with active-low output enables. It operates from a 1.65-V to 3.6-V supply, includes 5-V tolerant inputs for mixed-voltage translation, and provides high output drive of ±24 mA at 3.3 V. Packaged in a 20-pin SOIC (DW), it is ideal for low-voltage CMOS bus-oriented systems requiring high drive and low propagation delay, including memory address drivers, data bus buffering, and peripheral driving.
