The SN74HC244 is an octal buffer and line driver with 3-state outputs, featuring two independent 4-bit buffers each with its own active-low output enable. It operates from 2V to 6V supply with typical propagation delay of 12ns. The device provides high drive capability of ±6mA at 5V and low power consumption of 80µA maximum ICC. Outputs are non-inverting. The 3-state outputs allow connection to shared bus systems. Selection is ideal for high-speed CMOS systems requiring octal non-inverting buffering.
