SN74HC259DR TI Latches
The SN74HC259 is an 8-bit addressable latch with 3-state outputs, operating from 2V to 6V supply. It features a 3-input address decoder selecting one of eight latches, with data input D. The device can be used as a 1-of-8 decoder/demultiplexer or as a 8-bit storage register. Propagation delay is 15ns typical at 5V. Output drive is ±6mA at 5V. Packaged in 16-pin SOIC. Selection is ideal for addressable latch applications in high-speed CMOS systems. Applications include microprocessor output expansion, addressable LED drivers, I/O port expansion, and data demultiplexing in industrial controls and consumer electronics.
